ACCOMMODATION & TENANCY ASSISTANCE

We provide purpose-built specialist disability accommodation for eligible participants, including:


  • Short Term Accommodation (STA)
  • Medium Term Accommodation (MTA)


Located in Wollongong, these apartments offer stunning views of the Illawarra region, from sweeping ocean views to mountain sunsets. Our newest development in Albion Park is set to open its doors in 2025.


We can also provide homes that include:


  • Suitable Disability Accommodation (SDA) and Improved Liveability (IL) - High Physical Support (HPS) and Robust (RO) available
  • Supported Independent Living (SIL)

COMMUNITY NURSING

We provide nursing and clinical nursing in-house and in the community. Our nursing support services include:


  • Palliative care
  • Wound care
  • Stoma care
  • Catheter care
  • Bowel management including Peristeen
  • Continence care
  • Diabetes care
  • Injections (depot's and prescriptions)
  • Medication management
  • Nursing assessments
  • Nursing reports
  • Health navigation and liaison
  • Health education and training
  • Seizure management training

PALLIATIVE CARE 

We offer palliative care units as an alternative when staying at home is no longer viable, and work with the NSW Health Palliative Care Team to provide in-home care to participants. These units are staffed:


  • 24/7 hours by support staff
  • An on-call registered nurse to provide further support


We work closely with any support structure that you already have in place to provide continuity of care in an environment that remains homelike.

COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION

We can help participants with various aspects of support, including personal care, housework and taking part in the community:


  • Personal care - taking medication, showering, grooming, dressing and mealtime management
  • Housework - cleaning, laundry, gardening and cooking
  • Social and community activities - shopping, paying bills and catching public transport
  • Social outings - recreational and volunteering activities, support groups and special events
  • Transportation assistance to help people move flexibly and independently to access the community - wheelchair accessible vehicles available

LIFE STAGE TRANSITION ASSISTANCE

We provide support for people transitioning to a new way of living, including:


  • Assistance with life transition planning and life planning

GROUP OUTINGS & CENTRE BASED ACTIVITIES

We offer planned group outings in the community and programs targeting various interests in our Activity Hub, including:


  • Arts and crafts
  • Music
  • Sport
  • Dance
  • Board games and trivia
  • Cooking
  • Group support, including Men's Club and Kids Club
  • Monthly family support catchups, for all family and caregivers
  • Monthly high teas
  • Sunday roasts
  • Planned day trips - zoos, music shows and The Royal Easter Show


Our Activity Hub facilities include:


  • Obie - an interactive games projector
  • Sensory room
  • Quiet room
  • Self-catered kitchen - fully equipped kitchenette with fridge, freezer, microwave and kettle

CENTRE BASED EVENTS

Our Activity Hub is an inclusive space available for hire to host events, including:


  • Children's birthday parties
  • Private functions
  • Community networking events

SUPPORTED GROUP TRAVEL & EXPERIENCES

We offer our participants the opportunity to access fully supported travel experiences suited to personal interests and needs, including:


  • Group travel - weekend getaways, domestic trips and cruises
  • High staff to traveller ratios
  • Active night staff - if required
  • Transfers to and from Wollongon


NDIS funding may be able to be utilised to fund supports provided to achieve participant travel goals.

OUTSIDE SCHOOL HOURS CARE INCLUDING VACATION SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN

Our team of specialist support workers and assistants are fully trained to care for children with low to moderate disabilities, to more complex and severe.


We offer the following services for children over pre-school age and under 12 years with a NDIS plan:

  • Before and after school support, including assisted transport programs for school drop-off and pick-up
  • School holiday support, including centre-based activities and off-site outings
  • Movie nights

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT FOR SUPPORT WORKERS

We offer fully supported training and development for support workers and sole traders, including:


  • Complex care needs
  • Manual handling
  • Medications administration and insulin
